Bob's Mission
Bob actually has a vital mission at Zero Gravity! Bob's mission is to check in and make sure everyone is having an Out of This World time!
Bob and his crewmates will be on sticker patrol handing out his mission badges with other fun prizes. He'll also be available for pictures at your next event, so make sure you have your camera ready and tag us on social media. #AstroBob
But Who is Bob?
AstroBob, sorry, Bob 😉 is actually inspired after a real Hometown NASA Hero, Robert D. Cabana.
Mr. Cabana is one of the first Minnesotans to pilot and then command on 4 different Space Shuttle missions. He piloted the Shuttle Discovery twice and was the Commander aboard the Shuttle Columbia and Endeavour. Talk about out of this world!
Mr. Cabana has recently retired from NASA as the Associate Administrator and before that position was the Director of Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
